GodopuandClaude Opus 5.5 8b47cc76ee test(issue-17): every test that sources lib.sh does it under its own WORKSPACE_ROOT (review grok, codex)
d198dd5 fixed one helper; the same defect was in eleven more modules
(reviews grok and codex R1/R2): their shells inherited the process
environment, so each `source lib.sh` rewrote <WORKSPACE_ROOT>/.mam/shim/herdr
- the checkout's own when the variable is unset or names this checkout (which
pytest_configure keeps), another workspace's under --noconftest.

- conftest: own_workspace_root, an opt-in fixture setting WORKSPACE_ROOT to
  <tmp_path>/.mam-test-state/workspace. Not autouse: runner.py and
mqtt_common read WORKSPACE_ROOT in-process, and some tests unset it on
purpose. mam_sandbox and explicit envs run later and still win.
- pytestmark usefixtures("own_workspace_root") in test_version_consistency,
  test_b19_headless_reconcile_fixes, test_b8_send_keys_verification,
  test_issue6_fail_closed, test_loop_cli, test_issue5_phase3_loop,
  test_issue5_phase4_runtime, test_o3_scoped_guard, test_issue25_plan_reuse,
test_orc_onboard (their shells inherit os.environ, many with no env at all).
- test_orc_onboard (R2): SCRUBBED_ENV is taken at import and no longer
carries WORKSPACE_ROOT; every call builds _scrubbed_env(root) with the root
of the call (ws / cwd / mam_sandbox, else this test's).
- test_workspace_scope (unittest) and test_issue21_worktree_prereqs._mutate
pin the root they already create.

Tests (test_issue17_workspace_root_isolation.py): W1 copies the checkout and
runs one test of each of those modules there with WORKSPACE_ROOT naming the
copy - the copy gets no .mam; W2 imports test_orc_onboard under a sentinel
root, then calls it under another - the sentinel stays empty. At d198dd5 both
fail (the copy gets .mam/shim/herdr; the sentinel gets it).

GodopuandClaude Opus 5.5 fb006374d6 test(issue-26): test_bug4 checks the whole send_keys_safe body, not its first 2500 characters
34241d7 added a line near the top of send_keys_safe (SKS_QUIESCENT_TRIES
normalisation), which pushed `agent prompt` from inside the 2500-character
window to offset 2519. The order the test guards is unchanged
(_pane_quiescent < _pane_dialog_open < agent prompt); it now slices up to
the function's closing brace.

GodopuandClaude Opus 5 5ba04a27ca feat(issue-24): startup dialogs come from the agent adapter and are handled while waiting for the TUI
handle_startup_dialogs was a claude-only string ladder called only when
AGENT=claude, and wait_for_tui_ready does not treat a dialog screen as ready.
So agy, grok and codex sat on their directory-trust prompt for the full
readiness timeout, the session was recorded as tui-ready-timeout, and
onboarding injection was disabled (create_session.sh:313-314) - a human had to
accept each dialog by hand.

The signatures and accept keys move to the adapters as `startup_dialogs`
(pattern, keys, kind), published through the existing `facts` eval contract as
MAM_STARTUP_DIALOGS. claude's ladder moves over verbatim; agy takes Enter, grok
y, codex Enter, and codex's update notice takes 2 (Skip), which blocks a start
just as hard while changing nothing. kind is `trust` or `notice`:
--no-auto-trust leaves trust dialogs to a human and still answers notices,
since trusting a directory makes codex load its project-local config, hooks and
exec policy.

Re-sending is gated by time (MAM_DIALOG_RESEND_S, default 5s), not by frames.
#24's comment reports that `--source visible` keeps showing an accepted dialog
for a while, and _pane_capture hardcodes that source, so "still on screen" is
not evidence the keys were missed; acceptance is judged by the ready tokens
alone.

Two existing tests asserted the old shape and are updated, not weakened:
b19's "Escape branch stays" now looks for it in claude's adapter, and c1b's
"Enter once per iteration" becomes "never twice for one frame", which the
cooldown satisfies strictly more tightly.

- Introduce finalize_unfinished in multi-agent-mux-delegate-job for fail-closed atomic transitions
- Enforce CAS dispatch_token and attempt_id pinning across engine, CLI, and lifecycle scripts
- Integrate Herdr wait_for_agent_idle turn handshake to prevent prompt loss and race conditions
- Resolve bash 3.2 set -u empty array expansion compatibility in lib.sh
- Preserve Issue #5 R2 contract in CAS transition engine (engine.py, publish_event.py, service.py)
- Add comprehensive regression suites (test_issue6_fail_closed.py, test_issue6_turn_handshake.py)
- Bump lockstep framework and skills to v4.4.1 across lib.sh, eager.py, VERSIONS.md, 8 SKILL.md
- Synchronize documentation (IMPROVEMENTS.md, MESSAGING.md, state-transitions.md, task.md, phase5-e2e.md)
- Unanimous PASS achieved across 4 reviewer team leaders (Claude, Codex, OpenCode, Grok)

Closes #6

Godopu 17edf90676 fix(tui): establish 2-tier readiness model, modal/hint token separation, and adapter modal contracts
- Separate TUI dialog detection into blocking gate layer (_MAM_MODAL_TOKENS) and recovery layer (_MAM_HINT_TOKENS) to eliminate idle dialog starvation
- Add modal_tokens contract across agent adapters (claude, cline) with dynamic scope facts resolution in send_keys_safe
- Implement fail-closed resolution for ambiguous same-kind panes (R-1) and enforce WORKSPACE_ROOT export (R-2)
- Preserve session on TUI readiness timeout when PID is alive for diagnostics
- Add comprehensive test suite in tests/test_c1_tui_readiness.py and adapter contract assertions in test_a4

Godopu c3631e2aa1 fix(herdr): resolve shim routing defects, add workspace scoping, and bump to v3.0.1
- Resolve Herdr shim 5 routing & paste defects (ISSUE-1 ~ ISSUE-5):
  * paste-buffer: use pane send-text without auto-enter, propagate rc=3 to send_keys_safe
  * exact-match pane resolution: remove substring matching ('in tn') across all branches
  * workspace scoping: introduce HERDR_WORKSPACE_ID and .mam/herdr_workspace_id persistence
  * unified resolver: single _resolve_herdr_pane_id helper across shim commands
- Resolve dialog token false-positive on 'Yes, try it' tip and isolate fullscreen modal rejection
- Sync mock Herdr CLI contracts in tests/conftest.py
- Add contract tests H-15~H-23 and regression tests D-4~D-7 (412 tests, 100% PASS)
- Add multi-agent loop plans, review reports, and bug report
- Update framework and skill packages to v3.0.1

Godopu 4bbd03bf2d fix(lib): handle agent_not_ready startup state and reject claude fullscreen upsell modal
- Accept agent_not_ready from herdr agent start to allow startup dialog handling without premature rollback, while preserving fail-closed behavior on dead process timeouts.
- Match Claude fullscreen renderer upsell modal via 'Yes, try it' and dismiss with Escape to avoid dropping permission flags or deadlocking on idle /tui tips.
- Add behavioral test suite in test_b19_headless_reconcile_fixes.py and cross-agent review reports.
