- BaseAgentAdapter: id_lifecycle (pre_assigned: claude, grok / post_discovered)
and capture_active_session_id - exactly one verified candidate newer than the
session that no other row records, else a reason (no-candidate, ambiguous, ...).
- agy: verify_artifact (discover) rejects an id last_conversations.json maps to
another workspace and always excludes ids other rows record (a cache hit no
longer bypasses it). capture uses the cache only as a proposal: the
conversation's presence lock or DB must be held by the row's pane process or
a descendant (lsof/ps); anything unprovable is not pinned.
- lib_py/agents/autopin.py: handle_completed, run by the side that verified the
job's completed - the delegate-job wrapper (direct), create --onboard and the
loop's wait_for_job (recovery, as a subprocess: G9). Local herdr jobs only;
one (job, dispatch token, attempt) is handled once (job-scoped flock + marker
in the job dir); writes go through atomic_dump_yaml; a pin records
session_id_source=discovered / session_id_verified=true; a failure leaves the
reason on the row and never changes the job's result.
- reconcile.sh drift C for agy, hermes, opencode and codex calls the same
capture (the agy *.db glob is gone); _pin_and_verify_resume uses pin_row.
- Tests: tests/test_issue40_auto_pin.py; issue64 :407 now expects False; the
static reconcile-source checks follow the move to the adapters; the two tier2
drift-C component tests create with --no-onboard (onboarding now pins).

- Review 614b6263 (codex, P2): `opencode session delete` removes the child
sessions with their parent, but their 1.x rows stayed and the parent's
residual was empty. The child sessions (session_v2 and a 1.x session
table, any depth) are taken before the delete; the 1.x tables (message,
part, todo, session_share, session) are cleaned for all of them, and the
residual also reports a child still on record (a failed delete).
- The in-use check counted any process holding the shared opencode.db; the
per-user 2.x background service (`serve --service`) holds it for every
session, so every opencode purge was refused while it ran (it does on
this Mac). It no longer counts; any other holder and a command line
naming the session still do.
- The data dir follows the caller's XDG_DATA_HOME when ctx is the caller's
own home (else <home>/.local/share), for debug paths, the fallback and the
residual scan (review 614b6263 / f4cedbae N4).
- resident_children = ('opencode',): the --standalone server stays the TUI's
idle child; what runs under it still counts (review 1abe0a90).
- Tests: child sessions on a migrated database, a failed delete, the service
holder, XDG, resident children, drift C pinning the parent over a newer
child session (review f4cedbae N2), and the real-binary test no longer
depends on PATH (N1).

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01VCgu9Fa9iT7TbJUSzdq4Ff
- Implement CodexAdapter in lib_py/agents/adapters/codex.py with safe flags and TUI readiness
- Extend create_session, resume_session, stop_session, and reconcile for codex CLI
- Support codex agent delegation and loop integration across all multi-agent skills
- Add unit, component, and contract test suites for codex integration
- Verify all 462 tests passing cleanly
- Standardize --herdr-session as primary flag with --herdr-server alias across create_session.sh, resume_session.sh, update_yaml_resumed.sh, and stop_session.sh
- Guard HERDR_SESSION_NAME in create_session.sh from being overwritten by workspace slug defaults when explicitly provided
- Forward explicit --herdr-session from resume_session.sh to update_yaml_resumed.sh and force-update row metadata
- Add 5 new Tier 2 component tests covering CLI dry-run parsing, usage matching, default preservation, YAML serialization, and resume propagation
- Update multi-agent-mux-create/SKILL.md documentation
- Verified by autonomous multi-agent loop with unanimous PASS verdicts from Claude and Cline
- In stop_session.sh and update_yaml_resumed.sh: standardize explicit --agent option and use resolve_agent_type_from_registry to read agent type from YAML/DB state rather than brittle suffix-only regex inference.
- Update multi-agent-mux-stop/SKILL.md, multi-agent-mux-resume/SKILL.md, multi-agent-mux-create/SKILL.md, and deploy/INSTALL.md to standardize passing --agent explicitly.
- Fix J-1 in layout.py: refactor _env_int(*names, default=None) to take an explicit default parameter, eliminating the falsy-zero trap so MAM_MIN_PANE_COLS=0 is respected.
- Add regression and contract tests: test_j1_env_zero_min_cols_matches_flag_zero, test_j1_env_zero_min_rows_matches_flag_zero, test_comp_stop_agent_fallback_*, test_comp_docs_stop_examples_pass_agent.
- Verified 100% UNANIMOUS PASS from Planner claude and Reviewers claude and cline.
- Option B / C-3b: Deprecate isolation.root and remove its 4 legacy consumers in lib.sh, workspace_uuid.py, verify_session.py, and stop_session.sh.
- M2~M7 Migration: Implement artifact_path, verify_artifact, purge_artifacts, spawn_spec, resume_spec, auth_ok, discover, ready_tokens, exit_key, and delegate_agent_key across BaseAgentAdapter and all 4 adapters (Claude, Agy, Hermes, Cline).
- Migrate shell duplications in lib.sh, create_session.sh, resume_session.sh, stop_session.sh, and reconcile.sh to python -m lib_py.agents facts.
- Hardening & Corrections: Fix Cline resume_spec flag to '-i --id', apply shlex.quote across all facts variables with MAM_ prefix, add safe fallback in wait_for_tui_ready.
- Add comprehensive contract tests in tests/test_a4_adapter_contract.py and sync IMPROVEMENTS.md / LOG.md.
- Verified: 100% PASS across unit, component, contract, and integration tests.
